Memories in Bali

Sharing some doodles from my Traveler's Notebook. It was our first time to Bali, Indonesia last March, and our first flight together.

We were exploring near our hotel and chanced upon ARMA. Without a local SIM card, we were mindful not to use our mobile devices. Disconnecting helped us to connect with ourselves. Hubby meditated in nature, and I attempted to capture the moment.

Chelsea Szabo gave me the confidence to doodle. It was during one of the online group coaching sessions where she reminded me not to let my inner critic win.

It's about re-connecting with my curiosity and creativity, two things tucked away for a long time. I'm not attempting to be a professional artist. I just want to make something with my hands, and have fun while doing so.

It's been more than a year since that trip. I haven't looked at the digital photographs, stored away in our computers. But this little notebook? I brought it along for our recent trip. And this page brings back fond memories.
