The day after my bilateral simple mastectomy

Here's my update. Didn't sleep much last night. Post-op blood pressure every hour climbed to 200/100+ yesterday, had a fever. Much better now, but 2am nurse found I developed a small bruise despite drain, on-call doc checked on me 10 mins later.

Awaken by 5.30am nurse who noticed bruise said it remain small. Couldn't return to sleep when my ward neighbour turned on her mobile ringtone and had a loud videocall for all to hear 😅 Guess it's fair with the medical team and my loo visits waking her much. 😅

Now waiting for the morning duty docs.. and of course breakfast.

I ate well yesterday after the op. Ensured I was well hydeated that I was walking to the loo every water to pee out the blue dye injected pre-op with radioactive med. Chris brought biscuits and buns, had them for supper.

Thankfully there's tv and headphones. Watched channel u, and finally an episode of Hotel Del Luna. Korean drama, Chinese dubbed, English subtitles 🤣
